Position Overview

PHILCORE System Solutions Power Inc. is looking for a Testing Engineer to support testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and verification of electrical power systems and associated control systems for industrial, commercial, and power-sector projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform protection relay testing, verification, and functional checks.
• Conduct testing and commissioning of HV/MV electrical equipment.
• Perform functional and operational testing of electrical systems and controls.
• Support SCADA, PLC, and BMS testing and commissioning activities.
• Carry out troubleshooting and diagnostic testing of electrical equipment.
• Prepare testing reports, results, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with project engineers, clients, and site personnel during testing and commissioning activities.
• Follow company safety procedures and project-specific requirements at all times.

Minimum Qualifications

• Knowledge and experience in Protection Relay Testing.
• Experience in HV/MV Equipment Testing.
• Knowledge of SCADA / PLC / BMS systems.
• Electrical Engineering or related technical background.
• Able to understand electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
• Good troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Willing to perform field and project-site work when required.
• Able to work independently and as part of a project team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in testing and commissioning projects is an advantage.
• Experience with protection relay test equipment and electrical diagnostic instruments is an advantage.
• Strong technical documentation and report-writing skills.
